Engaging in some form of art plays a big part in        everyone’s life, allows you to relax with a hobby.

I find doodling a handy and relaxing distraction..anywhere. That is why I designed

I am still designing ways to help you explore a good hobby. Take a look at my resource page.  I have found quite a few great sites to help you think about different activities.

A pencil and paper is always handy. Look around you. You may catch the guy next to you at the meeting doodling…now don’t get me wrong, you still need to pay attention to the meeting!

Try some basic designs with lines, circles, repeated patterns and mix it up. It will be original!  A journal is a nifty place to keep your creations.  Moleskine black covered journals are my favorite.  You can buy them at Target, DickBlick art supply, or any art store.

       Experiment with any art supplies.

Try different pens, colored pencils, or markers. Then take a look at the different papers. You can find these items at any craft store. Michaels Craft store has a nice variety and if you set up an email, you receive frequent discount coupons.

Before you realize it you have a great design!

Explore what medium you prefer. A pencil is most available, but the fun begins with various ink pens, fountain pens, markers. Alphonso Dunn has some great drawing tips on his Youtube videos. Better yet visit his site Alphonso Dunn  https://www.alphonsodunn.com

Relax!

You do not need instruction for this one.  It is a great way to let your pen take over.

If you like watercolor, just add a little watercolor, markers, colored pencils, pens…lots of pens and the pages of a watercolor Moleskine journal style can hold that design.

Mix it up, add a page for notes of your favorite meals, an ongoing wine list section or paste a label from any recent wine bottle.

It is fun to look back later and recall a fun event.

Focusing on a hobby can help create a diversion to anxiety and stress! i would like to share how I found calm in hobbies. An engrossing hobby can be your answer.
