Everyone has a flare for Art!
Here are a few of my paintings.

Paul Cezzane  is regarded by many as the father of modern art. He changed the way people thought about art in the 20th century.  Ironically,  he did not excel in his art classes in college.  His friends thought he was destined to become a poet.    He enrolled in a free drawing school for an evening art class.  His father wanted him to go to law school.   Guess who won that decision….

Watercolor takes focus .

Watercolor takes focus and lowers my daily related stress level.

While I have many interests, I prefer painting as my hobby.  I have found it to be a great way to meet people.

Monet wasn’t created in a day!

A successful painting starts with a pencil. The drawing takes much of the focus and is the backbone of every painting!

A good way to get some guidance for a good start is to follow Bob Davies  click on http://www.ArtTutor.com

Art Tutor is a fee based site but Bob has some free demos on Youtube that are helpful.

In my experience the site has a reasonable fee and Many great artist to follow.

Bob Davies has a lot of valuable basic tips to build a strong drawing.  This is key to a successful painting.  Yes, I know you think but “I want to paint not draw”!   While I feel the same as you, it is a lesson we appreciate down the road.  To keep from being bored try a little of both.  Draw little and try some sample painting .

The fun starts when you play with water and the rich colors of watercolor pigment!

While I enjoy watercolor, you may prefer many other forms of art. Consider: macrame, sculpture, sketching, knitting, gluing shells, rug making, 3D printing, digital photography these are just a few of thousands of hobbies.

The fun only starts when you try Something!
